The Team at WBS are delighted to have been informed that their WBS Oysters have won another Great Taste award, from the very prestigious Guild of Fine Food in London.Below is an extract from some of the lovely comments from the world renowned judges after sampling WBS Oysters.

The award is the third award to be presented to the Barlow family from the Guild of Fine Food, for their hand reared oysters grown in the picturesque Woodstown Bay. Due to
their products award winning consistency, they have now been award a very high honour of being listed as a “Great Taste Producer”.

What the judges said:

“Bright, clean and authentic, these oysters have heaps of personality, a beautiful texture and a long finish that transports you to crystal clear sea waters.

Hard to fault, but perhaps a little more creaminess could bring this product up to the dizzy heights of perfection.”

A good oyster tells a tale, paints a picture, describes the crystal clear waters from where it originates. These oysters do all of that and more. These have been
wonderfully handled and raised.

“What a delight, oysters so fresh they could have just been lifted from the sea – salty, but with that sea-saltiness, hinting at ozone and surf and rocky coasts. Really a
melt-in-the-mouth experience, just needing a glass of crisp Chablis to make it perfect!”
